Where did the time go?

Landon went back and forth between the two horses wanting to ride both. It was fun watching dad go from one horse to the next.

This is how Landon rolls to the park.

Landon wanted to just go right in the water so we had to show him that it was cold and then he decided that he would just stand on the edge. He hates cold water.

I can't believe it is almost June already. It's insane. John and I have been super busy with yard work, my yearly spring cleaning (which isn't done), fishing (haven't caught anything yet), and work. For Mothers Day the guys cooked us mothers BBQ chicken. It was a nice relaxing day and of course Landon and I came down with the flu which lasted 4 days (it was awful we are always sick on fun occasions). John has been gone for the past 2 weeks with guards (at least he got to come home on the weekend) and next month it will be 2 weeks again and then July will be 3 weeks. So we are trying to shove in as much family fun as we can. We took Landon to the lake last week and he loved it. He threw rocks in the water the whole time and loved to hear the echo of his voice. We also got him one of those hard plastic swimming pools. John wanted to get him one that would fit him in it too so its a pretty good size (I don't have pictures of that yet but I'm working on it). Last year Landon hated the swimming pool but this year I can't get him out of it. He just loves it outside. He goes and feeds animals with grandpa and aunt b. He tries to carry over the hay. It's so cute. John and I went on a movie date last weekend to the new X-Men movie (it was okay). This weekend he is trying to get me to go see Star Trek but I'm not sure I've never been a Treky fan (we have a bunch of free movie tickets we are trying to us up before they expire). This weekend is Brianne's 18th B-day so we are having a BBQ so that will be fun. For her birthday I got tickets for us to see Josh Turner at the fair (so excited) and I got John and I tickets to go see Bret Michaels (that will be interesting). Landon also took his first trip to the park with Grandpa and now that's all he wants to do when he comes in to work with me. He points to the direction of the park and screams. Well that's what May has been like hopefully next month I'll update this a little more.
