Well this weekend John and I went fishing up at Wood Lake. It is about 25 miles out of Augusta. It was so much fun. The road out was not a very good one but the scenery was. I caught 2 fish and John caught 1. Mine was the biggest (I win). There were so many fish you could see them swimming all over. The lake is not very deep but its great for fishing you just cast where you see the fish. We had the best spot where a stream was coming in and the fish seemed to really like that area. We saw this car pull up and I thought to myself please don't come over here. And that is what exactly happened 4 kids and two adults come walking over and asked if they could fish next to us. Well sure if you move down a ways so our lines don't get hooked. Well they moved 3 feet away and proceeded to cast right at us. I was not very happy so we quit fishing and walked back to the vehicle and I just happened to look at the plates and it said California go figure. So John took the kayak out for a little bit (room for only one) and I just looked around.

Today is Johns 25th b-day but we celebrated yesterday with his favorite meal spaghetti and angel food cake and today we are going out to The Peking Garden and possibly will walk around at the fair but no guarantees. We have kind of grown out of the fair scene. We love amusement parks but not so much the fair. Landon however will be at home with Aunt B. He is doing really good.
